Q. What does my Free Trial include ?
A. Click here to find out. In today's highly competitive business environment two things are particularly vital - a) making a timely approach b) communicating clearly and professionally with decision makers. In addition to providing our subscribers with excellent lead information we also believe it's important they have the necessary tools at hand to get the most benefit from those leads.
Q. Do you supply specific tenders ?
A. Every lead bulletin contains comprehensive information on a specific UK project, including :
- Essential project details
- Executive decision makers
- Project schedule
- Full address, tel, fax
- Company profile
- Website address
- Other branches or subsidiaries
- Sales turnover and number of employees
- SIC Code

Q. Where do you get your lead information ?
A. QSL researchers have access to a vast range of national and international business intelligence sources. These include news agencies, City newswires, international newswires, regional, national, trade & industry publications, commercial planning applications, trade associations, government and regional government sources. Then using our unique 
dataplus system each news item is checked and verified and ancillary data added so that every lead bulletin contains the essential information needed by our subscribers to identify the right opportunities for their business.
Q. How much does subscription cost ?
A. There are two subscription packages. Option One provides 50 new leads every month and Option Two 150 new leads every month. You choose 6 months or 12 months subscription to either Option. Subscription costs range from £395 - £1195. Click here for full details.
Q. How will I receive my leads ?
A. When we receive your subscription we'll create a personal Account Area for you. (Login to your Account Area on our website using the user-name and password you created when joining). You can view, download, print, and email your lead bulletins in your Account area. New lead bulletins will be added to your Account Area at the beginning of each month. We will notify you by email when new leads are added.
Q. Why don't you publish or provide specific tender information ?
A. 90 % of the projects we report are in the private sector. There is no legal requirement for the private sector to publish their tenders as there is with the public sector (OJEC). However, the private sector uses the tender process, or similar, widely. In order for potential suppliers to learn of specific tender requirements pertaining to goods or services provided by their own business they need to communicate directly with the company behind the project. QSL Lead Bulletins provide all the information needed to do this and to identify major new business opportunities at an early stage.
Q. Can I just have a Free Trial without subscribing ?
A. Unfortunately not. Our data is very expensive and time-consuming to create. In line with most of the business information industry we only offer Free Trial data to people or businesses genuinely interested in our Service. Experience has shown that requiring interested parties to complete the subscription process is the best way of achieving this. If you find our Service doesn't suit your needs you can cancel by email, Fax, or letter at any time during your 15 day trial and you won't be charged.
Q. How does subscription work ?
A. It's very simple. You choose the number of new leads you want each month (50 or 150) and desired subscription period ( 6 or 12 months ). Then select the type of leads you want. If your business provides a product or service typically needed by most expanding companies (eg IT) you may choose to select all lead types. If your business is more specialist in nature (eg storage equipment) you may choose to select categories for Warehouses / Distribution Centres / Storage + Industrial / Manufacturing / Production. You can also choose by region or all of the UK depending on the sales coverage of your business.
Q. I've looked at Latest Leads and many of them seem to be building projects. Are your leads just for companies in the construction industry ?
A. No not at all. It's true that many of our lead bulletins centre around a construction project – a new company headquarters for example. But apart from the construction element those new company headquarters will require hundreds of additional products and services – everything from carpets, to IT, to recruitment services, to water coolers. That's why we say there's a real A – Z of business opportunities.
Q. If I want to cancel how do I do it ?
A. To cancel your subscription please log in to your Download Centre and click into Your Account. Then click on Cancel Subscription to request your cancellation code. We will only accept cancellations with valid codes. No further subscription charges will be incurred provided cancellation is received by us prior to the end of a current subscription period.
Q. When and how do I get the extra items included in my subscription ?
A. Once you've submitted your subscription details using our online form we'll send you an email which will contain login details to your own Account Area. This Account Area contains everything included in your chosen subscription package.
Q. Can I choose my leads by region or county ?
A. If your business only operates in certain areas you can choose to receive leads from any or all of the following regions, South East & East, Midlands, North (includes Scotland), South West & Wales. We cannot supply leads by county. Counties included in each region are as follows: South East and East: Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, London, Middlesex, Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex; South West and Wales: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Avon, Hampshire, Wales; Midlands: West Midlands, Buckinghamshire, Staffs, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Worcestershire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire; North: Durham, Cumberland, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Yorkshire, Humberside, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Teeside, Scotland, Ireland.
Q. Can I choose leads by industry ?
A. Lead bulletins are categorised as follows :
- Offices / general commercial
- Other commercial (eg call centres)
- Warehouses, distribution centres, storage
- Industrial, manufacturing, production
- Hotels, sports and leisure centres / facilities
- Schools, colleges, universities
- Hospitals, medical centres, surgeries
You can choose leads by any or all of these categories. But we don't supply leads for specific industries eg pharmaceutical.
Q. What should I do after I've downloaded my leads ?
A. As part of your subscription we also include the tools and support you need to move quickly, present your business professionally, and convert your leads into new customers. These include lead data in mail merge-friendly format to create instant mailing lists, guides on lead conversion, and white papers providing crucial advice on tender submissions.
