Q. Can I just have a Free Trial without subscribing ?

A. Unfortunately not. QSL data is very expensive and time-consuming to acquire and manage. In line with most of the business information industry we only offer Free Trial data to individuals or businesses genuinely interested in our Service. Experience has shown that requiring interested parties to complete the subscription process is the best way of achieving this. If you find our Service doesn't suit your needs you can cancel at any time during your 4 Weeks trial period and you won"t be charged a penny.

Q. If I want to cancel how do I do it ?

A. To cancel your subscription login to your account, go to My Membership, then My Subscription and click cancel subscription. The online cancellation system is available 24/7 and will provide you with a date / time receipt. Provided you have cancelled within your Free Trial period you will not incur any subscription fees whatsoever.

Q. Where do your tenders come from ?

A. QSL is an official licensee of OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) and we publish all UK and EU public sector tenders (above threshold). There are over 4000 UK public sector bodies including all Govt Depts, Councils, Utility Companies, NHS and Primary Care trusts, Police, MOD, Prison Service, Fire Brigades, Olympics, BBC, Post Office, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Housing Associations, Museums & Art Galleries, Public Transport, Financial Institutions, and Charities are all required under EU legislation to advertise tenders for the supply of goods and services on OJEU.

Do you provide tenders for all of the EU ?

Yes. Your subscription includes access to all EU public sector (OJEU) tenders at no extra cost. So, for example, if you have sales agents or distributors in France and Germany you can pass tenders published in those countries to these partners. However, you can filter your selection to just receive UK and Irish tenders if you wish.

A. When we receive your subscription we'll create a unique login for you. You'll then be able to login anytime 24/7 on our website using your user-name and password. Once you've logged-in you can search, view and download tenders as often as you like. We"ll also email to you any tenders that match your chosen tender categories the moment they're released.

Q. How many tenders will I get ?

A. This obviously differs from product to product (or service to service). We encourage subscribers to make their selection of tenders as broad as possible (you can choose up to 100 tender categories) that way they will be notified of as many appropriate opportunities as possible. We will email details of any new matching tenders to you as soon as they're released. You should also login and search our database regularly (updated daily). For example, you may find large projects that don't directly include tenders for your product or service but which still represent a good sales opportunity eg - as a subcontractor.

A. You have the option to receive Contract Awards with QSL. A Contract Award Notice reports which company has won a tender. Many subscribers like to receive Contract Award Notices because of the excellent subcontract opportunities they provide eg with the company which has won the tender. For example, if your company supplies heating systems you might choose to receive Contract award Notices for construction projects in order to seek to supply the heating systems required on the projects

A. During your subscription you'll receive 50 Project Bulletins every month providing exclusive tender opportunities in the private sector. QSL is the only company to provide comprehensive public and private sector tenders coverage.

A. QSL Ltd has been supplying tender information since 2002. We're a licensed publisher of all public sector tenders (above threshold) for the UK and the European Union.

Q. What Are CPV code numbers ?

A. CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) numbers have been developed by the European Union to help procurement personnel in public sector classify their contract notices and make it easier for suppliers find the right tenders. Every OJEU tender has a CPV code number. On www.qsl-tenders.co.uk you can search for tenders by CPV number and / or keywords.

Your personal data is protected in the UK by the Data Protection Act. The personal information gathered from your subscription details is used for invoicing, further communication relating to invoicing (where necessary), issuing user names and passwords, and the occasional despatch of information to further inform you of services provided by QSL Ltd, or other companies within the Group, which we believe may be of interest to you.

Subscription Terms and Cancellation Policy

We will provide the data services (as advertised on the www.qsl-tenders.co.uk website) ordered by you as part of your chosen subscription option via personalised access to a secure area of our website using a unique user-name and password. Under the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, you are deemed to have entered into a subscription agreement with QSL Ltd (and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions) when you have submitted your completed subscription form on this website and logged into your personal account. If you are ordering your subscription on behalf of a business you also confirm that you have the authority to purchase said subscription on behalf of your company, or employer, and understand that your company, or employer, is responsible for payment of the subscription fee in full. We provide the opportunity during the subscription creation process for customers to enter company purchase order details if they wish to do so. If no purchase order details are entered we have the right to assume that none are required to order the subscription.Subscription period will be that period chosen by you when completing your subscription details on the www.qsl-tenders.co.uk website. Subscription orders with QSL Ltd renew automatically at the end of any nominated subscription period unless we receive cancellation (using method described below) before the finish of said subscription period.

Third Party Costs Incurred by Late Payment. Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing, the cost of the service provided by QSL Ltd shall be paid within 28 days of the date of invoice. The customer will reimburse QSL Ltd all costs and expenses (including legal costs) incurred in the collection of any overdue amount.

Free Trial Period : Free trial offers, where applicable, are provided as an integral part of a subscription package. If you choose not to cancel your subscription during your trial period you will be invoiced for the subscription fee agreed at the time you created your Agreement. Cancellation must be made using the online cancellation system on the www.qsl-tenders.co.uk website. This system will provide you with a date and time stamped receipt for your cancellation request. Online cancellation can be accessed within your personal My Account area (click on My Membership then My Subscription). It is available 24 / 7 for your convenience. We do not accept verbal, written, or email cancellations. Please note, if your credit card fails during the subscription payment process and we do not receive payment from an alternative credit card we reserve the right to issue an invoice to you for the full subscription fee.

Early cancellation : If you do not wish to receive the full subscription period, you may instead elect to pay a cancellation fee of 25% of the subscription fee plus the amount due for all services received to date of settlement, calculated using the appropriate day rate for the service. If you choose early cancellation you acknowledge and agree that should payment of the agreed settlement fee not be made in full within 14 days of the offer then we (QSL Ltd) reserve the right to withdraw the offer and demand payment of the full subscription fee. Please note : Early cancellation is only available on subscriptions with Free Trial Offer and therein on cancellations received up to a maximum of 28 days following the expiry of the Trial period.
